What started out as a conversation between friends in the beginning of January 2019, is now a burgeoning arts collective. Creatives of Color BOSTON is a project that was founded by Janette Anne Santos and Tammi Jean Fedestin.
To date, CCB continues to operate under the goal of providing POC artists the space and support they need in an oftentimes less than ideal climate. They serve the artist community by way of hosting popup art exhibitions and artist workshops that tackle difficult topics that directly impact POC, such as codeswitching and intergenerational trauma & healing.
